Photo-Festivals partnered with nofound_photofair to organise nofound_photoreviews, the newly launched photo fair’s portfolio reviews for emerging and mid-career artists and photographers during the opening week (11-14 November 2011).

Sharing the philosophy and mission of the fair, nofound_photoreviews gather international experts in contemporary photography and related media such as curators, publishers, critics, festival art directors, and gallery owners.

For its first edition, nofound_photoreviews will celebrate the very dynamic British photography scene and introduce some of its key figures.

WHY SHOULD YOU PARTICIPATE?

-       The process of applying and preparing to attend is a valuable experience.

-       Presenting your work to contemporary art practitioner and peers alike is an experience that can’t be matched.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Some tips

The portfolio review might be decisive for your future as a photographer. As interviews are limited to 20 minutes per photographer, you’ll find below a few hints to help you get the most out of the experience.

Before applying, select carefully the experts you wish to meet based on their role and area of expertise (please read the reviewers’ biography).

Make a limited selection of images to present and sort your photos into series. Your portfolio will be more coherent as a result.

Prepare a clear presentation of your personal experience and work as well as some questions for the experts to optimise your time with them.

Privacy: Photo-Festivals and nofound_photofair are committed to protecting your privacy. Photo-Festivals and nofound_photofair do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
